Roskilde Festival '16!

Posted by

Hi guys!

This is a semi-guest post from our graphic designer Jacob Pajor on what he feel are the best electronic acts on this years Roskilde Festival. Take it away, Pajor...

Whats up everyone! When you're reading this, I'm already deep in the dirt on a field in Roskilde. The festival is all about being social and having a good time with your friends. The line-up is really broad and definitely not an electronic music festival. There's always a few artists in the genre though, and besides the social aspect, that is my main reason for going.

I have collected 4 artists that I definitely won't miss, out of this years line-up. Of course, they're all in the electronic category

“A pianist since the age of 5, now 25 years old, David August is most likely the only artist to be both skillfully master of classic pieces on the piano and to have delivered one of the most discussed and critically acclaimed sets for Berlin’s edgy underground party series, the Boiler Room.” (From Roskilde Festival)

“Seth Troxler is one of dance music’s most recognisable characters who plays by his own rules. He is a figurehead for a new wave of underground electronic music. Troxler has teamed up with the like-minded house heads Chris and Steve Martinez aka The Martinez Brothers to announce a brand-new platform.” (From Roskilde Festival)

#3 - DUSKY

“They have been called the purveyors of the best bassline house music in the UK. And there is indeed something irresistible about their combination of jackin’ bass and a garage beat.” (From Roskilde Festival)

“Lorenz Brunner aka Recondite just might convince us that winter is coming to Roskilde once he starts up his chilled, low-BPM sounds. ” (From Roskilde Festival)

We hope this short juicy list peaked your interest and that we'll be raving together during the weekend! Get all the info at www.roskilde-festival.dk
