We are proud to be on the forefront of new trends in the world of health, by unveiling a muffin produced from the pulp of juice production. This is just one of many initiatives that demonstrate our commitment to sustainability and reducing food waste.
The muffins contain 44% fresh and natural fruit and vegetable pulp. Producing these muffins ensure that we are able to re-use and obtain nutritional value from the “leftover” of what is lost during “juicing” process. This “leftover” is predominately fibre.
As a result, these muffins are a fantastic source of fibre. Dietary fibre is critical as it can assist in maintaining healthy blood sugar levels and provide the guest with a satisfied feeling post consumption.
The muffins come in a chocolate and apple + cinnamon varieties. They are sweetened with honey, which has been used for a millennium in traditional medicine for its potential antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
Stop by your local JOE & THE JUICE at try them with your coffee! They will be available in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany and France from this Monday.
