Brewing our coffee on this iconic classic will produce an amazing cup of coffee with a nice and round taste and heavy mouthfeel.
Boil the water based on the amount you plan to brew. See our guide to the right
Weigh the coffee and adjust your grinder to a French press setting.
Place the French press on a scale, add the ground coffee and tare it to zero.
Set a timer for 4 minutes and start it as you begin to pour the freshly boiled water on to the coffee.
The grounds will float on top of the water and form a crust. At the 3-minute mark give it a gently stir with a spoon. The grounds will settle at the bottom making it easier to press down the plunger.

0.5 L water | 30 g coffee
1 L water | 60 g coffee
1.5 L water | 90 g coffee
If you want to try a different batch size use 1g of coffee for every 18 grams of water.
